What is RTO and what are the reasons for it?

RTO, or Return to Origin, occurs when a shipment doesn't reach its final destination and is sent back to the seller. This process involves the entire reverse logistics of an undelivered/unaccepted order.

This can be initiated for shipments due to various reasons, including:

  1. Undeliverable addresses
  2. Recipient refusal
  3. Non-availability of the recipient
  4. Remote Deliveries
  5. COD denials

RapidShyp ensures to take precautionary measures to avoid such instances, such as double checking delivery addresses, checking buyer availability beforehand, and mentioning COD clearly on labels.
